Children’s Sunday school teachers please meet for a short meeting after worship today at the front of the sanctuary.

Deacons meeting today at 4 PM.

Nominating Committee meets on Tuesday at 7 PM.

Budget committee meets on Wednesday at 6 PM.

Community Outreach Meal Wednesdays from 11 am until. 360 meals were served this past Wednesday.

Youth meeting will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 PM.

Concealed Carry Permit Holders…Please let someone on the Nominating Committee know that you hold a permit.

AWANA Volunteer meeting and dinner, Wednesday, August 19 at 6 PM. We need more volunteers, including people, to listen to the kids’ bible verses.

All interested children, who want to sing at Westwood Nursing Home on Saturday, August 15, meet at the church at 10:30 AM to arrive there by 11 AM. Please bring Little Debbie snacks, sugar free juices, easy melt peppermints, or soft candies to hand out to the residents during our visit. Please leave donated items in the tote labeled “For Westwood” in the church foyer. Visit Westwood Nursing residents on August 19 at 4 PM for a 20-minute craft. Everyone is welcome; please have an adult to accompany any children coming along. We will meet at the church and follow each other to the nursing home. We are looking for volunteers to speak or pray with residents. Let Randy Puckett know if you will be joining us!

Mark your calendars: barbeque senior meal, Friday, August 21 at 6 PM. Please bring a dessert.

Celebration of our Community Meals Ministry reaching 100,000 plates served since the beginning in 2020. The team would like to celebrate with the church with a covered dish lunch after morning worship on August 30. Bring vegetables, breads or desserts. The meat will be provided.

The Montgomery’s Southern Gospel Group will be joining us for 5th Sunday Night Singing August 30. Please invite your family and friends.

Our Prayer List needs your attention! Our list needs some deletions because I am running out of room. Please let me know of any changes that can be made.
